Building what you always wanted
Built for cyclists, by cyclists. We tried every helmet. We commiserated with our fellow riders who had many helmets, but no favorites. Then we added our own passion for safety with a healthy dollop of style, as we defined the next generation of cycling helmets.
Exploring the Possibilities
At this stage, the focus was on stretching the boundaries of what's possible given the design brief.
We began exploring specific concepts and comparing against each other on key criteria.
We use plasticine, a soft clay, to build scale models on various 3d printed heads. This allows us to explore ideas quickly, on a variety of head forms.

We tested a library of polymers and mechanical structures to find the best energy absorption to weight ratio. We use our impact data to inform helmet offsets, vent placements and design.

A full scale model allows us to explore all the nunaces of the design, from every angle.
Digitizing the design
After dozens of iterations, we scan the clay model. The scan will form the basis of our CAD design where we employ our own software to generate an endless stream of 3D printed prototypes.
