Yes, we believe you would rather read an ad designed by an engineer than have a helmet designed by a marketing department.
Every aspect of the helmet is designed, engineered, and tested in Silicon Valley, CA. The helmet is fabricated in Silicon Valley using domestically sourced materials. The cage is manufactured overseas given the limited number of suppliers who can meet our exacting standards.
All your questions about odd shaped heads, growing noggins.
A custom fit coupled with a plush inner lining and occipital adjustment are designed to safely accommodate a growing head while avoiding the need to “buy with room to grow”. We guarantee the fit for 12 months and offer a fit-to-grow program for those interested in trading their KAV helmet for the next size up. It’s just another way that we promote protecting our next generation of athletes. If you have more questions about our fit-to-grow program, please email us.
Answers the "Where's my darn helmet?" line of question.
United States. We are working through the paperwork to ship to our neighbors to the North, till then you can look enviously over the border ;)
Everything is made to order and typically ship in 2-4 weeks. However, you'll see a notification on the site and shopping page which gives you the current lead times. Slipping us a five or promising a round of drinks is greatly appreciated but will not change your position in the queue.
Returns and exchanges
Not sure why this is here for us, but every website seems to have this question.
Given the custom nature of the product we can't accept returns. The only exception is you have an evil twin with the exact same head that we can sell your helmet to. We will correct whatever fit issues you may have so that you can get back on the ice.
